Fruit soups are generally safe for gout. Most fruit-based soups are low in purines and can be a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants, which may help reduce uric acid levels and inflammation. However, be cautious with added sugars or high-fructose corn syrup in commercial or sweetened fruit soups, as fructose can increase uric acid production. Also, if the soup contains high-purine ingredients like meat broths or organ meats, it would change the classification. Stick to homemade or low-sugar versions of fruit soups for best results.
